I Have a Dream
Martin Luther King Jr. had one, and I do too.
I have a dream. I have had a dream for a long time. I have always hoped to be successful, to be known, to be happy. After time, these hopes have developed into the specifics. I have begun to visualize myself as a web designer. Now, I dream of being a freelancer, a web developer, someone who helps out others. I dream of having my own business - ultimately, becoming happy, known, and successful.
It is now, that I am proud to say that this dream is in its planning stage. I’m writing down everything. I realize that my dreams must become a reality before I die. Every single aspect of my future, I am now writing down. I am planning what my business will look like, how I will structure this business, how I will run it. I plan how I will consult with clients, what steps I will take, and how I can help them in the most ethical, efficient, and satisfying way possible. I have written down so much, because I plan to become successful. I really do plan on it.
My goal is to get an internship as a web designer or graphic designer, as I must fulfill my practicum for school. Another goal is to at least work with one client, where I can go through the process and create a website for them (with pay, of course). These are huge goals, and they are goals I never thought would be possible two years ago. Now, I am incredibly proud to say that I am reaching my goals, I am beginning to take action. My dreams are becoming a reality, or at least I anticipate it so.
I know that all my success and happiness is in the future, but I am already happy now, knowing I have a plan.
Finally, I have purchased a domain, and hand-coded a website for myself. This will serve as a portfolio to display my work and resume online. I also intend to attract clients - I hope to be a web developer, or at least work in the new media industry, and I see this website as a way of communicating to them.

Aside from my website, I applied to an internship at a local university called Mount Royal. I would be working with a team to accomplish educational-technology. From what I understand, this means I would be using my new media skills: graphic and web design, animation, editing, etc. to help enhance the teaching and education at Mount Royal, through a new media format.
I feel this is one of the most exciting opportunities, it’s a summer-long full-time job, so I really hope I can get it! Could really use the experience, and the money.
On to Twitter Now
I just got a twitter account. I’ve always been contemplating getting one. I never really saw the use for myself, but now that I’m progressing through my new media course, and now that I realize what I want to do in the future, I figure I may have one.
This twitter will be mainly about the new media field: graphic & web design, 3D, technology, etc., and my endeavors in the field. If this interests you, please follow me! I’ll be sure to follow anyone back that interests me!

I apologize for the late reply. I notice you have sent this message anonymously, but I would like to check out your page and see what you mean. Are you referring to the font size in your posts? Or are you referring to the size of the container that holds your posts?
These properties can easily be changed in CSS with the “font-size” property, or the “width” property, respectively.
I know this probably does not help, but I can definitely get a better picture and lead you to a helpful answer by looking at your page, and you can point me out to what exactly you are referring too.

Original Look, Original Blog
I’ve been trying to update the look for my blog. So far, I’ve created a unique theme, and I’m proud to say that it is totally original! I am not using anyone’s theme. There is obviously going to be bugs and errors, I’m sure, but I will get around to fixing them.
I have also created a website, I will just need to get a domain name, and find some cash to do so. If you find any major problems with my blog (in terms of HTML and CSS), then please let me know right away, I will try and fix it ASAP. Of course, the code in the blog is still being updated, so I am not completely done yet. If people like my theme, I will see about putting it up on Tumblr.
Anyway, thanks for reading, let me know what you think of the blog!
